We’re excited to announce that Cystic Fibrosis ACT is now proudly managed by Cystic Fibrosis Queensland. Rest assured, all the vital supports and services you rely on will continue seamlessly, ensuring people living with cystic fibrosis in the ACT can access the care they need, when they need it. The President of Cystic Fibrosis ACT will continue to represent the ACT community at the Federation meetings and has a permanent seat on our board. In addition, Cystic Fibrosis ACT has a representative on the Cystic Fibrosis Australia Board.

MEMBER ASSISTANCE

For 2025, if you are a member of CFACT your support and services will remain the same. Once you are confirmed as a CFACT Member, you can send requests using the Member Request Form.

Annual Financial Assistance Cap

CFACT provides and annual subsidy of $1000 for people who are 18 years and older and $500 for children for you to spend on out-of-pocket medical expenses and associated costs as well as physical equipment to assist you to maintain your exercise routine.

You may also be eligible to benefit from the many grants Cystic Fibrosis Queensland secures for nebulisers, spirometers, home trampolines for children and physiotherapy airway clearance equipment. Be sure to speak with Services to learn more.
