Cystic fibrosis doesn't stop for Christmas. Support our Christmas Giving Tree today.
The Cystic Fibrosis Queensland Bookshop's Christmas Giving Tree Appeal supports children in hospital with cystic fibrosis
Periods of long hospitalisation in isolation are tough, and it’s even tougher when you are a kid and it's Christmas. Instead of going to Christmas parties and playing with your friends, you are stuck in hospital. Hospital trips can last for weeks and you could be in hospital every three months. Help break the cycle of loneliness this Christmas, by supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Queensland Bookshop's Christmas Giving Tree Appeal. You generous donation makes being stuck in hospital just that little bit better.
Each week Cystic Fibrosis Queensland delivers Boredom Buster Bags to children (newborn - 18 years) in hospital because of their cystic fibrosis. The bags are filled with treats such as toys, games, puzzle books, colouring books, snacks and more to help brighten the day of a child suffering with cystic fibrosis.
This Christmas, the Cystic Fibrosis Queensland Bookshop is asking you to help support children in hospital with cystic fibrosis by giving a gift or making a donation to the Christmas Giving Tree Appeal.
How can you give
Each week we deliver bags to children in hospital with cystic fibrosis. The bags are filled with age and gender appropriate goodies and aim to put a smile on some little faces and make a hospital stay a little less daunting.
We are working with Simply Giving to make the process of giving toys this Christmas simpler than ever.
