The Cystic Fibrosis Queensland Bookshop’s Boredom Buster Bag Christmas Appeal supports children in hospital with cystic fibrosis. ​

Periods of long hospitalisation in isolation are tough, and it’s even tougher when you are a kid and it’s Christmas. Instead of going to Christmas parties and playing with your friends, you are stuck in hospital. Hospital trips can last for weeks and you could be in hospital every three months. Help break the cycle of loneliness this Christmas, by making a donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Queensland Bookshop’s Christmas Giving Tree. You generous donation makes being stuck in hospital just that little bit easier.​

Each week Cystic Fibrosis Queensland delivers Boredom Buster Bags to children (newborn – 18 years) in hospital. The bags are filled with treats such as toys, games, puzzle books, colouring books, snacks and more to help brighten the day of a child suffering with cystic fibrosis. 

​This Christmas, the Cystic Fibrosis Queensland Bookshop is asking you to help support children in hospital with cystic fibrosis by giving a gift or making a donation to the Boredom Buster Bag Christmas Appeal. We are particularly looking for gifts for children aged 0 – 5 and for teenagers.
