Scholarship Application Form

The Cystic Fibrosis Queensland Education Scholarship directly supports education scholarships for our members. This scholarship is open to all people living with cystic fibrosis who are current members of Cystic Fibrosis Queensland.

To be eligible, this must be your first attempt at post-compulsory education or training qualifications. And the study must be undertaken through a higher education institute or registered training organisation that provides recognised qualifications. Study can be completed either full or part-time, face to face or online.

Applications must be supported by proof of enrolment, and you will be paid upon evidence of successful program continuance i.e., at the end of each term/semester of study. You will not be reimbursed for incomplete studies or if you withdraw. If you need to take a leave of absence due to ill health, you must notify Cystic Fibrosis Queensland to place your scholarship on hold. Your scholarship will remain on-hold until you are able to resume your education.

Scholarship holders will receive a total of up to $1 500.00 over the duration of their studies, paid in instalments upon successful completion of each term/semester of study.

Applications open January each calendar year. As part of your initial application, you need evidence of your enrolment. To receive your first and subsequent payments, you are required to email your results to services@cfqld.org.au and be sure to nominate the term/semester to which your results correlate. Your scholarship fund will then be banked into your nominated account.
