At Cystic Fibrosis Queensland we're incredibly lucky to have the support of so many big-hearted volunteers and fundraisers. We couldn’t deliver upon our mission of Lives Unaffected by Cystic Fibrosis without their hard work and dedication.
Our Diamond Awards, named in honour of our diamond jubilee, will be announced at our Diamond Jubilee Cocktail Party, Friday, 23 July 2021, to recognise the efforts of the many who dedicate their time to volunteer, fundraise or advocate in support of our cause.
There are five award categories including Volunteer, Fundraiser, Young Fundraiser, Corporate Partner and Cystic Fibrosis Warrior – for our fiercest advocate. Finalists and a winner will be chosen in each category and recognised at our Diamond Jubilee Cocktail Party.
Help us celebrate the heroes in our community by nominating those who have committed and joined our fight to breathe. Nominations close Tuesday, 1 June 2021. The Cystic Fibrosis Queensland Board will judge entries and make their final decision Tuesday, 13 July 2021. All shortlisted nominees will be notified that week.
The Volunteer Award recognises an individual or group who has consistently and selflessly dedicated their time to support the work of Cystic Fibrosis Queensland. This could be helping out at events or working in the office or our bookshop.
The Fundraiser Award recognises an individual or team who has shown creativity, passion and commitment in their fundraising efforts, and achieved great results! It’s not just about how much was raised, but also how they have gone above and beyond in their efforts to help Queenslanders and Northern Territorians living with cystic fibrosis.
Young Fundraiser Award
The Young Fundraiser Award recognises the achievements of our next generation of philanthropists, who are raising much-needed funds through crazy hair days, cake stalls and car wash events. This category is open to both individuals and groups (including schools).
The Award acknowledges those up to 18 years old who’ve achieved great results in the amount raised as well as the innovative ways they have rallied the support of their family and friends to support their efforts and promote the work of Cystic Fibrosis Queensland.
Corporate Partner Award
The Corporate Partner Award recognises an individual or team who has shown creativity, passion and commitment in their fundraising efforts, and achieved great results! It’s not just about how much was raised, but also how they have gone above and beyond in their efforts to help Queenslanders and Northern Territorians living with cystic fibrosis.
Cystic Fibrosis Warrior Award
The Cystic Fibrosis Warrior Award recognises an individual or group who has been an advocate for people living with cystic fibrosis and had a significant impact on Cystic Fibrosis Queensland’s ability to deliver on its mission. Advocates are generous in both time and their spirit and critical to our organisation's success. This category will be judged by impact and outcome not for an individual, but for the entire cystic fibrosis community.
